Year in Review Social Content

Problem:

Schools produce tons of streaming content, host thousands of students and fans each year, and post a ton of content to their social/websites. While they have all this data, it's hard to summarize everything that happened into a concise, summarized message to their community without spending time organizing all the data, on top of having to make a brand-friendly social media post in a design tool they may not understand or have time to figure out

On top of that, dedicated fans have no great way to summarize their year without having to skim through VODs, ticket stubs, and photos to make a collage of what happened during the season, when they already know their favorite teams, their stats, and have all their ticket history right in front of them.

Solution:

Year in Review allows student athletes, fans, and school staff to create social-friendly photos and clips for their social feeds/Team Sites highlighting their impact on the year/season. While there are a handful of services that provide a "year in review" at the end of the year (like Spotify's Wrapped collection), the school year-round sport schedule gives everybody multiple opportunities to highlight their impact and say thanks during the year/season.

Ultimately, providing a tool like this gives schools and fans a reason to care and share their excitement in their community - all with amazing data we have available, and creating unique school-brand specific content with a few clicks.

Example:

Pre-generating content reduces the need for spending time in marketing/design tools, and allows fans and schools to post with a few clicks to show off their impact easily. For a fan, leveraging their content they created (like Clips), counting how games visited, and hours of content streamed shows to others they are friends with how dedicated they are to their teams. Not to mention, knowing this information, we can make fan leaderboards for minutes watched and events attended!

For schools, highlighting how many tickets sold/fans hosted, game hosted and broadcasted, and how many views or Clips made for the year/season thanks fans for their participation and engagement. Utilizing content from their Team Sites, school staff can easily create both school-wide content, as well as sport team-specific content to post their own accomplishments for their respective social pages.
